Financial support by GBS-CIDP Foundation International Jan/05/2010
The money will be spend on an professional website, which will support neurologists all over the world. It will provide guidance, instant data entry control and generates e-mails to remind participants to add follow-up data.We aim to include at least 1000 patients. This study will result in the largest prospective clinical database on GBS in the world. The data will be available for INC participants to develop and validate prognostic models. These models can be used to counsel patients and their families, identify factors that determine disease progression and to conduct future selective trials in patients with poor prognosis.
